In 2021, the Metropolitan Opera, for the very first time in its history, featured a black composer—Terence Blanchard. His Fire Shut Up in My Bones was a huge and overdue success, and we’re thrilled to be partnering with his team to bring this special performance to Hartford.

This one-night-only performance features selections from the opera and features vocalists from the Terence Blanchard Ensemble.
