Hartford Symphony Orchestra Presents Symphony in the Park June 15

The Hartford Symphony Orchestra celebrates the power of community and music with Symphony in the Park a free concert in Bushnell Park on Saturday, June 15, at 2 p.m. Under the direction of Carolyn Kuan, the Hartford Symphony Orchestra is joined by the 2023-2024 Joyce C. Willis Artist in Residence underwritten by the Roberts Foundation, Melissa White, violin as well as Vocalist Ru Love and FriendZWorldMusic, the 2022 winners of Hartford’s Got Talent.

Symphony in the Park brings together more than 55 HSO musicians performing a variety of music, including well-known favorites from the silver screen and Broadway stage, light classics, Americana, and celebratory selections from Latino and Black composers.

“We are thrilled to offer this free concert in Bushnell Park for the community to come together and build pride in Downtown Hartford. This concert is a vibrant celebration and is a powerful reminder of the magic of music to unite us all. Don’t miss this unique musical experience,” said Steve Collins, President & CEO of the Hartford Symphony Orchestra.

In case of inclement weather, this concert will be held at the same time and date in Belding Theater at the Bushnell Center for the Performing Arts. The event will remain un-ticketed and free to the public.
