Meet June Archer

June Archer is an entrepreneur, music industry executive, community leader and HSO Board Member. He started his career as a recording artist in the R&B group Room Service and is now the CEO of Eleven28 Entertainment Group. June is also a motivational speaker, author and educator. He is the host of the “The Winner’s Circle” on “Thisis50” on YouTube/IGTV/iTunes, author of “Yes! Every Day Can Be a Good Day” and “Yes! You Can”, and the founder of The June Archer School of Arts, The Archer Foundation, 100 Men of Color Black Tie Gala & Awards and 100 Women of Color Gala & Awards, creator of The New England Music Seminar, Hot Chocolate Soul (performance showcase) and June Archer’s Celebration of Life (AIDS/Breast Cancer Awareness Birthday Party) which celebrates 29 years of community engagement.

Why I give!

Since learning the violin, playing for 6 years, and studying at The Hartt School of Music at University of Hartford, I realized that the dream to play an instrument was not available to all. Music should be enjoyed by all, and that is why I support the Hartford Symphony Orchestra!

Favorite HSO Memory

My favorite memory of the HSO up to this point has been the privilege to listen to our amazing musicians during rehearsal as they prepare for an upcoming performance. I love seeing the magic behind the scenes.
