Link Up: The Orchestra Sings

The Orchestra Sings is part of the Carnegie Hall’s Weill Music Institute Program to provide students from the East Hartford and Hartford Public School Districts with an introduction to orchestral music.  The year-long program involves learning the recorder, singing, listening and moving to music to deepen understanding about musical concepts.

The culminating Discovery concert is an interactive performance with the Hartford Symphony Orchestra celebrating wonderful melodies as the audience sings, plays the record and dances in unison with the orchestra.
