About

Why does beautiful music stay with us? It speaks to something words cannot. Music Director Carolyn Kuan welcomes back former Joyce C. Willis Artist in Residence Clayton Stephenson for a program that explores both quiet reflection and joyful expression. From the heartfelt beauty of Barber’s Adagio for Strings to the lyricism of Chopin’s Piano Concerto No. 1 and the soaring power of Barber’s Symphony No. 1, this is a concert about sharing emotion and our shared humanity.
