It is with best wishes for a lifetime of health and happiness that we share the happy news of Assistant Conductor Adam Kerry Boyles’s recent wedding to the talented and accomplished Rachael Elizabeth Colman.

Adam and Rachael’s story began at Opera in the Ozarks in northwest Arkansas in 2011. Fittingly, they chose to celebrate their wedding there on May 26, the anniversary of the day they first met.

Rachael was born in the Houston area and currently resides in Hampton, VA. She will retain her name after the wedding and will be relocating to Washington, DC, in the late fall or early winter.

She has an impressive academic background in music. Many may remember Rachael’s outstanding performance at the HSO Gala in 2022. Having received her Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from Baylor University and her Master of Music in Vocal Performance from the University of Missouri-Kansas City Conservatory of Music, she currently serves as a vocalist in the US Air Force Heritage of America Band at Langley Air Force Base. This fall, she will transition to the US Navy Band as a member of the Navy Sea Chanters.
