Application Requirements

Before you begin the application, please gather the following materials for upload:

  • Your CV or resume
  • A one-page Letter of Interest one-page letter of interest describing your specific interest in the HSO and vision for the role of an orchestra in the community.
  • Links to videos of recent performances showcasing your style and versatility. Total 30-minutes (maximum). Please remember to provide any passwords that may be required.
  • Four programs for concerts in a variety of styles and genres you have recently programmed and conducted.
  • A current list of repertoire you have conducted, organized by composer, genre, or concert type if possible. If your list is extensive, you may highlight selections most representative of your artistic range.
  • Three professional references with phone and email contact information. We will not contact references without your awareness and permission.
  • Optional: No more than three additional documents of supporting documentation including reviews, published articles, interviews or other media.
