Celebrating Paine’s, Inc.: A Legacy of Unwavering Support and Commitment
We are pleased to name Paine’s, Inc. as the recipient of the Hartford Symphony Orchestra’s Outstanding Business Partner Award. For over two decades, Paine’s, under the leadership of Mike & Julie Paine and their family, has been a steadfast supporter of the HSO, stepping forward as a sponsor during the creation of the Talcott Mountain Music Festival back in 1996. Each year since then, through every challenge—including the recent pandemic—Paine’s has consistently said “yes” to supporting our mission. Paine’s Recycling and Rubbish Removal, founded in 1929, has grown from a small collection service in Simsbury to a thriving enterprise in the Farmington Valley. For 95 years, they have maintained a focus on personal relationships and evolving to meet the needs of their community—principles shared by the Hartford Symphony.
The Paine family has embraced the HSO’s dedication to innovation, from enjoying performances “from Brahms to the Beach Boys” to admiring our creative programming under the leadership of Music Director Carolyn Kuan. We are honored to recognize Paine’s, Inc. for their unwavering partnership and investment in our community. They have not only supported the symphony financially but have enriched our ability to engage new audiences and ensure that music continues to be a source of joy and connection for all. Please join us in celebrating Paine’s, Inc. as our Outstanding Business Partner.
