Due to scheduling constraints, Hartford Symphony Orchestra concert cancellations occur only in the case of very severe weather. In the case of inclement weather, up-to-date information will be posted on the HSO website.
These stations will also be notified of concert cancellations and postponements: WTIC-AM (1080), WDRC-AM (1360), WFCR-FM (88.5), WFSB-TV 3 and the stations of Connecticut Public Radio/WNPR (90.5FM).
If there is snow or ice on the roadways and the concert takes place as scheduled:
Subscribers who do not wish to drive can use their tickets for a future performance in the same season by notifying HSO Ticket Services prior to the scheduled concert. Please refer to the Exchanging Tickets section. Patrons may also release their seats for tax credit.
If there is a severe storm and the concert is canceled or postponed: In the event of a cancellation or a postponement, HSO Ticket Services will contact you via the phone number you provided when you purchased your tickets.
