The Talcott Mountain Music Festival kicks off on June 28! Presented by the Hartford Symphony Orchestra, the summer concert series begins with Dancing in the Street: The Music of Motown Friday, June 28 at the Simsbury Meadows Performing Arts Center in Simsbury. This concert will be led by HSO Assistant Conductor, Adam Boyles. Single tickets are on sale at hartfordsymphony.org. This program features smash hits made famous by artists like Marvin Gaye, The Four Tops, Martha Reeves, Diana Ross, The Temptations, and the one and only Stevie Wonder. Get ready to dance to hits including “Ain’t?No Mountain High Enough,” “I Heard it Through the Grapevine,” “My Girl,” and many more!
The fabulous vocalists for this concert include Broadway stars Shayna Steele and Chester Gregory, and Michael Lynche from American Idol.
