Four decades of hit music by The King of Pop will fill Mortensen Hall at The Bushnell in Hartford as Hartford Symphony Orchestra presents The Music of Michael Jackson for one performance only, Saturday, February 28, 2015 at 7:30 p.m. This concert, which features guest artist James Delisco and guest conductor Brent Havens, is part of Hartford Symphony Orchestra’s 2014-2015 POPS! Series, sponsored by United Technologies.
The Music of Michael Jackson will be an evening of fabulous music spanning 40 years of Michael Jackson’s influential and celebrated career. Get ready to sing and moonwalk along to the hits, from the Jackson 5 to Thriller and beyond, including ABC, I’ll Be There, Beat It, Rock With You, The Way You Make Me Feel, and more.
About James Delisco

About Brent Havens
Berklee-trained arranger/conductor Brent Havens has written music for orchestras, feature films and virtually every kind of television. His TV work includes movies for networks such as ABC, CBS and The Family Channel, commercials, sports music for networks such as ESPN and cartoons. He worked with the Doobie Brothers and the Milwaukee Symphony, arranging and conducting the combined group for Harley Davidson’s 100th Anniversary Birthday Party Finale attended by over 150,000 fans. Havens most recent film work includes the score for the film Quo Vadis, a Premier Pictures remake of the 1956 gladiator film.
