Terms & Conditions

Please take special note of the following:

  • Payment is due at the time of confirming your attendance at a Discovery Concert or submitting your venue contract, or no later than four (4) weeks prior to a Discovery Concert or six (6) weeks prior to a chamber music ensemble performance or instrument discovery lab.
  • Transportation for a Discovery Concert to The Bushnell is NOT provided by the HSO. You are responsible for providing your own transportation to the performance.
  • Ticket Changes for Discovery Concerts: If you need to change ticket numbers, such change requests must be received by the HSO in writing (email is acceptable) no later than two (2) weeks prior to the concert. If you need to decrease ticket numbers less than two (2) weeks prior to the concert, you will not be refunded for the tickets that you are no longer using. If you need to increase ticket numbers less than two (2) weeks prior to the concert, the HSO will fill that request if seats are available and send an invoice for the added cost to you, for which you will need to submit payment no later than the concert date.
  • Schedule Changes for Ensembles and Instrument Discovery Lab:

  • If you must change the date and/or time of your event, such change requests must be received by the HSO in writing (email is acceptable) no later than six (6) weeks prior to your event. If you need to change the date and/or time less than six (6) weeks prior to your event, you may incur financial penalties. If you submit your request for tickets less than six (6) weeks prior to your event, the date and time are deemed confirmed as specified in your registration and you may incur financial penalties if you need to change the date and/or time of your event.
  • If your event needs to be postponed due to circumstances beyond the control of either your organization or the HSO, such as inclement weather, the HSO may reschedule your event for another date and time with no financial penalty to you, provided that you give reasonable notice (4 hours) to the HSO about such postponement.
  • Cancellations for all programs:

  • Discovery Concerts: If you must cancel your school’s attendance, such cancellation must be received by the HSO in writing (email is acceptable) no later than two (2) weeks prior to the concert. If you need to cancel less than two (2) weeks prior to the concert, you will not be refunded and will be held financially responsible for payment. If you submit your request for tickets less than two (2) weeks prior to the concert, you are deemed confirmed at the time of submitting your registration, and therefore, if you need to cancel, you will not be refunded and will be held financially responsible for payment.
  • Ensembles and Instrument Discovery Labs: If you must cancel your event, such cancellation must be received by the HSO in writing (email is acceptable) no later than six (6) weeks prior to your event. If you need to cancel your event less than six (6) weeks prior to your event, you will not be refunded and will be held financially responsible for payment. If you submit your contract less than six (6) weeks prior to your event, your concert or Instrument Discovery Lab is deemed confirmed at the time of submitting your contract, and therefore, if you need to cancel your event, you will not be refunded and will be held financially responsible for payment.

Upon receipt of this application, the HSO Assistant Manager of Education and Community Engagement will review your information and email you a confirmation, an invoice, and a venue contract, if applicable.
