Whistler and Ives is a musical counterpart to the nineteenth- and twentieth-century American art in the collection of the museum. Sunday Serenades chamber music concerts are presented in collaboration with the Wadsworth Atheneum Museum of Art’s special exhibitions and permanent collections. Concerts take place in the museum galleries and feature Concertmaster Leonid Sigal and Hartford Symphony Orchestra musicians.
