“A TRIBUTE TO RAY CHARLES, MOTOWN AND BEYOND” WILL TAKE PLACE THIS EVENING, SATURDAY, JULY 23 AT 7:30PM
Hartford Symphony Orchestra’s Talcott Mountain Music Festival performance of A TRIBUTE TO RAY CHARLES, MOTOWN AND BEYOND at the Simsbury Meadows Performing Arts Center that was postponed on Friday due to rain will take place this evening at 7:30pm. Friday concert tickets will be honored at tonight’s performance. Patrons who purchased tickets for Friday and are unable to attend tonight can call HSO Ticket Services at (860) 987-5900 before July 29 for exchange options. Tickets are on sale for A TRIBUTE TO RAY CHARLES, MOTOWN AND BEYOND at hartfordsymphony.org, and at the Simsbury Meadows Performing Arts Center today from 11 am to 7 pm.

A Tribute to Ray Charles, Motown, and Beyond is a soulful celebration of the R&B roots and deep passion for the heart and soul of music that featured artist Ellis Hall and Ray Charles shared. Hits include “Georgia on My Mind,” “Hit the Road Jack,” “Ain’t No Mountain,” “America the Beautiful,” “I Heard it Through the Grapevine” and “Let the Good Times Roll,” plus some incredible Ellis Hall originals! Conducted by Richard Carsey.
