1pm Gallery Talk in Aspects of Portraiture with Susan Talbott, Director and CEO of the Wadsworth Atheneum
2pm Concert (Avery Court)
Inspired by Director’s Choice: Aspects of Portraiture and a selection of European works on paper, Artistic Director Leonid Sigal has chosen John Adams’ John’s Book of Alleged Dances and Robert Schumann’s Piano Quintet in E flat major, Op. 44 to complement portraits that capture the core of human character from the 16th century to today. This concert is dedicated to Susan Talbott.
