Music Builds Community (MBC): The Hartford Symphony Orchestra Campaign will raise $10 million by 2022 that will ensure HSO’s key role in the greater Hartford region. Music Builds Community resulted from an extensive strategic planning process, providing the framework to expand and leverage the HSO brand. Based on this framework three goals were set:

• Build the HSO’s endowment providing organizational support in perpetuity.
• Increase Education and Community Engagement programs to meet a growing need throughout our extended community.
• Create innovative programs introducing orchestral music to new audiences.
