Joyce is a Connecticut native whose parents, as ministers, moved their family numerous times over her childhood. But, once back in Connecticut, she stayed and has lived in Manchester since 1972, fresh out of Bulkeley High. An MCC and UCONN grad, Joyce also holds a Master’s degree in Organization and Management from Antioch New England Graduate School. She has worked, primarily, in the non-profit world all of her professional life including the Hartt School of Music, American Lung Association, The Salvation Army and the Malta House of Care.
Before coming to the HSO, Joyce was the Executive Director of the Little Theatre of Manchester, where she continues to volunteer. She’s very involved in her community, providing direction to groups like Imagine Main Street and Pride in Manchester Week. Her greatest pride, however, are three amazing daughters, two beautiful granddaughters and a wonderful rescue named Molly.
