Hilary-LedebuhrFrench Hornist Hilary Ledebuhr appears regularly in many orchestra, opera, theater, and chamber groups throughout New England, and has performed with the Albany, New Hampshire, Portland and Vermont Symphony Orchestras, Connecticut Opera, Rhode Island Philharmonic, and at Mohegan Sun. She currently plays third horn with the Hartford Symphony Orchestra, where she has shared the stage with such performers as Joshua Bell, Andrea Bocelli, Frank Sinatra, Jr., Aretha Franklin, Yo-Yo Ma, and Luciano Pavarotti. She and her trumpeter husband founded a brass quintet, Brass Venture, with which she recently recorded new works by Berklee composer Thomas Hojnacki. A native of the Finger Lakes region of New York, Ms. Ledebuhr earned her bachelor’s degree from Ithaca College and her master’s degree from New England Conservatory.
