Hartford Symphony Section Cello

Audition Date: Sunday, September 16, 2018

Application Deadline: Friday, August 31, 2018

One (1) Service position is available.

The per service rate for section Service Players is $136.52, with a minimum of 42 guaranteed services during the 2018-19 38-week winter and 5-week summer seasons.   Salary is not individually negotiable and may be prorated based on start date.  Benefits presently include pension and access to instrument insurance.  Employment terms and conditions are detailed by the CBA.

Hartford Symphony Assistant Principal Clarinet

One (1) Core position is available.  This is a one-year position, possibly permanent.

The per service rate for Assistant Principal Core Players is $157.00 during the 2018-19 season.  The annual salary for an Assistant Principal Core Player is $19,625.00 paid in bi-weekly installments of $912.80 during the 38-week winter and 5-week summer seasons.  Salary may be prorated based on start date.  Benefits presently include pension and access to instrument insurance.  Tenured Core Players receive one (1) week of paid vacation during the 38-week winter season.  Employment terms and conditions are detailed by the CBA.

The per service rate for Section Basic Players is $136.52 during the 2018-19 season.  The annual salary for a Section Basic Player is $13,378.96 paid in bi-weekly installments of $622.28 during the 38-week winter and 5-week summer seasons.  Salary may be prorated based on start date.  Benefits presently include pension and access to instrument insurance.  Tenured Basic Players receive one (1) week of paid vacation during the 38-week winter season.  Employment terms and conditions are detailed by the CBA.
